It is an ultra-fast accelerator and the most active among thurams. It is faster than ZDEC and is used as a secondary accelerator in conjunction with MBT, MBTS in natural and synthetic rubber compounds. It is also used as a primary accelerator for latex. It does not alter the color, does not stain, and is tasteless and odorless.

It is an ultra-fast accelerator, the most active of the dithiocarbamates, and is an ultra-accelerator for fast cure at low activation temperatures (100°C).
It is used as a secondary accelerator in conjunction with MBT, MBTS in natural and synthetic rubber compounds. It is also used as a primary accelerator for latex. It does not alter the color or stain. It does not produce blooming in EPDM rubber compounds.

It is the first sulfonamide-based delayed-action accelerator with rapid vulcanization characteristics in the sulfonamide series. Di-morpholino disulfide
DTDM is a sulfur donor used for the vulcanization of synthetic and natural elastomers, replacing sulfur. It offers advantages over sulfur in that it eliminates the efflorescence produced by sulfur in raw compounds, for example, 2.5 PHR of sulfur is replaced by 1.5 PHR of DTDM. Additionally, it improves green tack and reduces reversion in natural rubber compounds. It does not stain and does not alter color. It enhances resistance to aging and compression set.
