Di-morpholino disulfide
The DTDM is a sulfur donor used for the vulcanization of synthetic and natural elastomers, replacing sulfur. The advantages it has over sulfur include the elimination of efflorescence produced by sulfur in raw compounds, for example, 2.5 PHR of sulfur per 1.5 PHR of DTDM. Additionally, it improves Green tack and reversion in natural rubber compounds. It does not stain or alter the color. It enhances resistance to aging and compression set.

Homopolymeric Sulfur
Sulfur OT-20 is a polymeric sulfur insoluble in elastomers below a temperature of 120°C. Consequently, it prevents migration and delays pre-vulcanization or scorching of compounds during storage, maintaining the green tack of the surface. Above 120°C, it depolymerizes to become soluble sulfur ready for vulcanization, similar to conventional sulfur.
